Please check this out. I am unfortunately unable to attend myself, but it's a good cause that I believe in.

RetroACTIVE: A Fundraiser for a Mine Free World

Go Retro. Be Active.

Mines Action Canada will be hosting a very fun and very exciting fundraising event on Friday November 11, 2005 when the newly renovated Brunswick House in Toronto opens its doors for “RetroACTIVE: A Fundraiser for a Mine Free World”.

Aimed at an energetic young adult crowd, the hope is to keep the landmine issue fresh and relevant at a critical time in the successful achievement of a universal ban, while also giving young people an opportunity to party for a cause on Remembrance Day.

Exhibits, a raffle and take-home information on the issue will enhance this extraordinary club night of dancing and fun to everyone’s favourite retro-active tunes.

WHEN: Friday November 11th, 9pm – 2am
WHERE: The Brunswick House, 481 Bloor St. W, Toronto
WHAT: Live DJ playing the best in Classic and Live retro
COST: $5.00 per person
(all proceeds go directly to Mines Action Canada)
