I got a nasty sunburn yesterday. Perhaps some of my readers, more scientifically inclined than I, can explain why I used to sit out in the sun for literally hours when I was a kid(high school track meets allow for a lot of 'layin' around' time), and only ever tanned. Now, I sit in the sun (and it wasn't even THAT sunny!) for 3 hours and I burn like a Luau Pig. Ouch. Is it due to the depleted ozone, or does your skin have more resilience when you're younger?

I am now an uncle again! My niece was born this weekend, Abigail JoAnne Knight. 9lbs, 5 oz. My wife cringes, knowing what's coming. Sorry honey.
